Montessori Centre Academy, Inc. is a school nestled on 20 acres of private woodlands. Rolling hills, several playgrounds, and gym equipment dot the landscape providing a wholesome atmosphere for children. The school itself is a large white farmhouse, a landmark dating back to the early 1800's, and was a land grant to a Civil War veteran. Both the School and the outdoor environment provide a creative atmosphere not only for the children but also for the teachers.
Montessori Centre Academy, is celebrating 50+ years of quality education, our staff has over a century of experience in education, and we are committed to the learning principles of Montessori. In addition, we are accredited by the Middle States Association.
How We Excel:
For 50+ years, we have been educating children using the Montessori Method as well as current innovative curriculum to meet the highest educational standards. Every year we work to refine and enhance the curriculum in order to meet the needs of children and prepare them for the future. Our instructional methods, from Toddler to Pre-school to Elementary are consistent with gifted education. This gifted curriculum allows the children to learn strategies for independent problem solving. Concepts overlap and allow the children a depth of understanding and produces a continuum of learning.

We collaborate to build a safe, supportive environment focusing on executive functioning skills that help to develop the student’s innate desire for independence, a sense of responsibility, and respect for themselves and others. We want to empower our students to build life skills and embrace their full potential.
