At this social, emotional, and academic age of a fourth to sixth grader, the children were excited, focused, and very willing to sew up a chicken by making sutures. Children also were presented x-rays of the brain from various angles. The questions the students asked were very indicative on how absorbed they were about their own brain and how it functions.
This was an enlightening presentation and we thank our parents for exposing the children to medicine.
It truly peaked many of the children’s interest.
We welcome our parents to come in and share your talents, and commitment to your professions!
